OK copy the data to the root of a memory stick. Then go to system settings and install other os. Go up one and change the default os and then change it to other os. It will restart and load into linux and thats you.

It comes up on that blue screen with the controller (grey box around it) it wont let me click it or anything why??

And that usb picture aint there!!

ima download this n try it a bit l8a, looks quite easy, ty fraz, but i really wana no what the benefits are with having this over a normal ps3, and what hapens with the firmware updates?

You need to press the ps button as i said , please people listen to the narration.

are you sure you extract all the folders to the root of a memory stick ?

sp u gotta install it everytime, and u cant run games from ur ps3 while in linux, and u cant remove u usb while u wana use linux? is there a way to copy it to ur ps3 and to run it off tht

No because your ps3 needs something to run it off of.
