OK copy the data to the root of a memory stick. Then go to system settings and install other os. Go up one and change the default os and then change it to other os. It will restart and load into linux and thats you.

Fraz, thanks for this, just a quick question, why cant you go on the internet if you have wireless, why does it need to be wired.
in the root folder, so wen u click on your mem stick/usb from my computer (windows) it will be there where you copy it.

Can you please reupload the rootfs file? it gives me a CRC error when i want to copy it 
EDIT:
I've got it to work but when it gives me the usb and controller pictures it just freezes there for some time and then reboots back to XMB. How do I fix it?
