The world would be a much better place, science would have definitely progressed way beyond what it is now and honestly, less wars would have been fought. Religion brings war, but it also brings hope to those who believe in it, so I dont see it going away any time soon because of all the people brainwashed by it already.

Religion is not what causes war. Its the people that interpret their religion wrongly. Relgion doesn't start wars. People do.

This is the Christian God. If you read the Book of Revelations in the New Testament, it describes how John saw God.

So there is nothing to live for without god? I myself am atheist and find plenty to live for. Japan, the most secular nation, has one of the lowest crime rates.
14% of the world is non-religious, so this theory has no weight at all.

Excuse me? If there was a god, pardon my French, I would call him a dick. To say that I have "hope" there is one is downright pitiful.
What keeps me going in life are the following:
- Happiness
- Family and Friends
- Desire to better the world
- Desire to enjoy life
So please, don't assume that just because one doesn't believe god exists that they have nothing to live for.

You responded by me saying that one can be secular and be plenty moral, by saying you don't believe but everyone has hope. There are a large amount of people who can see the beauty of the universe, enjoy family and friends, etc...
