How To Upgrade Your PS Jailbreak Clone Dongle
*THE EASY WAY!*
This tutorial is for updating the dongle ONLY, please view my other post on Jailbreaking 3.50
For Users Who Have A Problem With Their Computer Not Recongnizing The Dongle..

Upgrade Instruction:

1.) You must login or register to view this content.
2.) When installed，go to installation folder, namely Atmel\Flip 3.4.2\usb\, find libusb0.dll and libusb0_x64.dll, copy them to folder Flip 3.4.2\bin
3.) Then plug PSjailbreak into USB port in PC, the red green light will light up.
4.) Meanwhile PC reminds you that unusable unkown device found.
5.) Ignore it, wait for a few seconds, new hardware AT90USB162 DFU will be found, pc asks you to provide driver,

6.) choose USB folder in Flip as the Install Path, for example Atmel\Flip 3.4.2\usb\

7.) then the installation begins.

8.) When the driver is installed, we can write on AT90USB162.

9.) Run Flip, go to Device -> Select..., and choose AT90USB162

10.) Then go to File -> Load HEX File...

11.) Choose the HEX file you want to write into, (Choose one of the files provided at the top of the post)
Attention: HEX must be put in the English path so that it can be read
12.) Then you can see HEX file parsed shown in the left bottom.

13.) Then go to Settings -> Communication ->USB, choose OPEN USB port.

14.) Then the chip is open and ready to be written.

15.) Check HEX File, make sure if it’s the right HEX that you want to write into.

IF YOU GET THE VERIFY FAILED ERROR , CLICK THE "READ TARGET DEVICE MEMORY" TO READ THE CHIP , DO THIS 3-4 TIMES THEN CLICK RUN AGAIN!
16.) Choose RUN in the left bottom, then the chip is being written. It will be done in a few seconds. You will see Verify PASS in the left bottom when it’s finished.

Now the chip has been written. Turn off Flip and unplug the PS jailbreak dongle out of PC.
Kudos to myself for finding a fix for the "Verify Failed Error"

Both light are on green and red when i plug it to pc generic usb hub and i cannot update driver
Windows 7 X64 should i try W7 32bit?

Does it give you the error message that it has malfuncioned and windows cant recongnise it? If thats the error you recieve ive yet to find the fix.. I dont get the error, Try Googleing some things, I dont have the problem so I cant really help ya \: I can try and look around though, It might be a problem with your USB port or your oporating system, because some computers wont recongnise AT90USB162 boards for some reason.

If youve updated to 3.55 youll no longer have any way of downgrading with a clone, sorry but now this post is only for 3.41... unless you've refrained from updating to 3.55.

PSGrade has only been released as an open source code.. it hasnt been confirmed to work on 3.50... But it doesnt matter PSGrade wont be able to jailbreak 3.55, Heard rumors about different exploits that will be released soon for 3.55..
AS FOR THIS POST! THIS IS TOO ALL WHO ARE READING THIS!!
