The Flash Tool Is 4.50 But Works With 4.75 (TESTED)
The Nor Inspector Is To Check If Your Dump Is 100% Good To Go

For 4.78 use NOR & NAND Auto Patcher v4.70 By darkjiros
Then after you have flashed the patched dump back to the PS3 & restarted it will say cannot start PS3 system
This is because the PS3 has still got 4.78 ofw installed & the nor is patched to 4.70
Dont worrie, install Rogero 999 downgrader, then qa flag, then install Rogero 3.55v3.7.
After that you can install whatever CEX CFW you want, ive done lots of 4.78 consoles this way no probs

Can you downgrade OFW back to 3.55 firmware? I am on OFW 4.78 and I used an e3 flasher. I checked my dumps and they were good, my lowest downgrade is to 2.70 firmware, I flashed the ps3 but when I go to downgrade it says "data corrupted". I know its meant for CFW but if I jailbreak 4.78, would I be able to downgrade to 3.55?

If you are on CEX CFW & what to go back to OFW 3.55 do the following steps.
Important:
Before you start disable any spoofers if you have any installed & remove any game disc from BD drive, use right usb port for installs.
(1) Install 3.55 Rogero Downgrader RSOD.
(2) Install Toggle qa package & run it, PS3 will beep & reboot,then do the button combo to QA flag PS3.
(3) Install Rogero 3.55v3.7 CFW (Must be installed from recovery menu) option 6 system update.
(4) Install OFW 3.55 (Must be installed from recovery menu).
