A hacker on YouTube has claimed that he is testing the worlds first PS3 mod-chip. According to the hacker, the games can be loaded off an external memory device, and it supports all firmwares. He points out that it is still in testing stages, but nothing has been proved as of yet.

@IDontbreak did you not read it ? LOL it says its legit. Theres huge websites in the PS3 hacking scene that are confirming this real. The 8 videos I've read seem 100% legit to me and I've also read a few good long pages about this, I'm deffo buying when they come into retail.

Should be nice. Unfortunately, the PS3 cost A LOT more than the 360, so if your PS3 is banned for one of these, you're shelling out 300.

Seems like it could be legit, he has a bunch of other mod videos uploaded on his youtube that add some credibility I guess

no cams to record... but the only thing that I don't like is games that is over 4gb can't work if you using externel harddrive at least I can't( something has to do with the 4gb limit on fat32 drive)... it has to use internal hardrive to play games that are over 4gb.. so I suggest to anyone who is using the ps jailbreak buy a big internal harddrive for your ps3..
and when using usb external drive it seems to load the game slower..
