Ever since the Xbox 360 introduced cross-game chat to its Xbox Live users, enabling them to party up with and chat with players in other games, PlayStation 3 fans have wondered when Sony would implement such a feature on the PSN. As it turns out, the reason we've been waiting so long for this feature, is because the PS3 simply cannot do it. There are memory restrictions in place that would make it impossible Shuhei Yoshida said.

one of the main downfalls of PSN is the lack of cross game chat, really lets it down.

so what? they will pull something else from no where and will top the xbox 360 cross game chat,just wait and see!

damn it.I wanted cross-game chat.

They'll probably make it into a paid feature, Sony is really bullshitting right now.. If they wanted CGC they'd implement it, simple as that..

theyre obviously not going to have it for ps3, ps4 maybe. i really think they should though its so much easier to communicate with other ppl

Actually the PS3 does have cross game chat. It just doesn't have cross game voice chat. We can always dream... :fa:
